Lea Michele is opening up about her late boyfriend, Cory Monteith, for the first time since his sudden death on July 13th.
The actress/singer sat down with Ellen this morning giving some rare insight into their relationship and talking about how hard it was to move on after his death, and returning to work after shortly after.
"We had to go back to work, this is my family," she said during the interview, "What people don't understand is that going to work is no harder than being at home, and being in the house and opening up a closet and seeing a pair of shoes, grief goes with you everyday, whatever you're doing. I'd rather be at work with people that I love."
The singer released her first single this past week, "Cannonball," which she says fit the tragic situation perfectly.
