Justin Theroux is a self-described flip-flop hater. The LEGO Ninjago Movie actor called in to On Air With Ryan Seacrest on Thursday, September 21, and revealed his dislike for the casual footwear.
âIâm not a fan of the flip-flops,â Justin shared, laughing. âIâm fine with them at the beach or indoors or going to a public shower or something like that, but not walking around the streets or ⊠at events or dinners.â
The phenomenon, Justin added, you see âeverywhereâ and âusually paired with, like, a cargo short.â
âMy theory is Iâve never heard a woman â or man for that matter â say, âOMG! Look at the feet on that guy!â" he jokingly added. "No one wants to see âem so put them away.â
While all men are now quietly burning their flip-flops, Jennifer Anistonâs hubby went on to dish on his latest role in The LEGO Ninjago Movie â and how his reading skills impacted the script.
In the LOL-worthy film, Justin plays evil villain Garmadon who has a son named Lloyd (played by Dave Franco). Justin revealed that when he was recording for the movie, he accidentally pronounced âLloydâ and âL-L-oydâ and that it stuck in the script.
âIt actually was my terrible ability to read making it into the movie,â Justin explained. âWhen I first got into the booth, I was in full voice going, âMy son L-L-oydâ and I said, âOh, sorry. I had a little brain fart.â And I realized it was L-l-o-y-d and I pronounced both Lâs and we thought that was hilarious ⊠so just worked it into the script.â
Listen to the funny interview above. The LEGO Ninjago Movie hits theaters on Friday, September 22.
