If you're on social media, chances are you've done this and regretted it. IMPULSIVE BUYING.
This is just the world we live in, so do we just accept the fact that instant gratification is the new norm!?
We all see the seemingly endless stream of viral products popping up on your Instagram or TikTok feed.
$45 here, $25 there…impulsive spending can seriously damage your finances if you're not careful.
Gen Z spends almost $850 a year on spur-of-the-moment purchases on social media platforms…while Millennials spend over a thousand dollars!
So, is there a way to break this impulse buying?? One trick you can do is wait a day or two…and see if you still feel the same way about said product.
Another thing I do when I see something that interests me... Instead of immediately buying it, I add it to a wish list that I revisit later. I have had a ton of things there for months…and still haven’t purchased anything…so it holds me back! I had to do something…I am highly susceptible to impulse buying!
