Jimmy Kimmel is going to be a dad again!

The late-night talk show host phoned in to On Air with Ryan Seacrest to talk about expecting his third child and his annual special, Jimmy Kimmel Live: After the Oscars.

“I don’t know if I’m ready to do this all over again,” jokes Jimmy, who has two kids in their 20s. “When I did it the first time around, I was a morning radio DJ, so I got up before they did. I actually woke them up to be fed, so this will be upsetting to my schedule.”

And we had to ask, since he’s so fond of having parents prank their small children (especially when it comes to their Halloween candy), will he be a jokester with his own?

“Oh my god, yeah,” Jimmy admits. “I have to tell you, this is true, I learned something very strange: My mother used to lie on the ground and pretend to be dead when we were kids until we would cry, I’m not sure why she did it. But I then learned my grandmother, her mother, did the same thing and then I was watching a video of my grandfather … talking about his family, and his sister mentions that their grandmother used to lay on the ground pretending to be dead. I don’t know what it is in our family, but it goes back at least five generations.”

When he’s not planning family traditions, the jokester is also quite the cook. He even recently cooked for Oprah!

“I did make pizza for Oprah,” says Jimmy. “When Oprah was at my house for dinner she told me it was the best pizza she ever had and she seemed very sincere,” but, Jimmy laughs, “when she Instagrammed it, she said it was ‘one of the three best pizzas’ she’s ever had … but I think the truffle pizza was her favorite or maybe just the plain margherita pizza I think might have been her favorite.”

You can catch Jimmy again this year after the Oscars when he puts on his hilarious comedy bit with Jimmy Kimmel Live: After the Oscars.

This year, “we have Tom Hanks, Meryl Streep, Liam and Chris Hemsworth, Martin Scorsese, Seth Rogen, Morgan Freeman – it’s a crazy list of people that are participating in this nonsense.”

Catch Jimmy Kimmel Live: After the Oscars special on ABC after your late local news ET/CT or 10 p.m. PT this Sunday after the Academy Awards.
