Apparently the Russian government is blocking 5,000 containers of Chobani Greek Yogurt from entering the Sochi games. This is causing a lot of outrage back here in the states. The Russian government says the American-made yogurt cannot enter Russia because the Americans have not submitted the proper paperwork. The United States says the certification required by the Russians would be impossible to attain. The yogurt makers are growing exasperated. “I’d like to think that yogurt could have diplomatic immunity,” said Peter McGuinness, the chief marketing and brand officer for Chobani. The Obama administration has intervened, seeking to clear the way for the delivery.

The real story here is the man in the picture. His name is Rico Roman and he is an Olympic Athelte on the USA hockey sled team. Rico Roman was serving in the US Army when he was involved in an accident which took one of his legs. Roman tells Steve Cochran that he’s never let this hold him down. Rico Roman was a member of the gold medal winning National sled hockey team in 2012 and is on the 2014 Paralympic sled hockey team. True American right here and i bet he doesn't need yogurt to win.
