The Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin is doing a lot of amazing things every day in the operating room. But, it’s something that happens before the OR that has people taking notice.
Obviously, preparing for surgery is a very scary experience, especially for children. One way that surgeons at the hospital are helping kids prepare is to do “surgery” on their stuffed animals.
Such was the case with 9-year-old Ryan and his stuffed monster:
