Tom Brady told the media on Wednesday that he hopes his mother will be in attendance at the Super Bowl, even though she is struggling with an undisclosed health issue.
“It’s personal with my family, and I’m just hoping everyone’s here on Sunday to share in a great experience,” Brady said. “But, it has been a tough year. Every family goes through different things and you know my family has always been a great support system for me and hopefully we can make everyone happy on Sunday.”
On Tuesday, Brady revealed that his mother had not been able to attend any of the regular season games, this year.
Brady also talked about the importance of having family at the big game, as a way to say “thank you” for their support.
“It’s the Super Bowl and it’s great for your team, but there’s also a lot of people who have made an investment in you… and you want to be able to reward them as well.”
