A group of gay veterans, initially barred from Boston’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade, are now being allowed to march.
Parade organizers had an emergency meeting Friday to discuss the involvement of the organization OutVets in the parade. The parade’s Twitter account later announced that organizers had signed the acceptance letter to allow OutVets to march in the parade:
The parade has been under fire for denying the group permission to be in the parade.
