That shiny yellow paint job on the newly-renovated Pesky Pole didn’t even make it to opening day without someone marking it up…
Okay, so it’s not anywhere as vindictive as it sounds. Thursday morning, Boston Mayor Marty Walsh toured Fenway Park with Red Sox president Sam Kennedy and was first to sign the Pesky Pole.
The landmark pole was temporarily dismantled after the 2016 season sp that it could be repaired and repainted.
Can’t wait for the season to start on Monday!
