Sometimes… you just want a cheeseburger.
Even though they had just eaten a few hours earlier, the kids were STARVING! Mom and dad were passed out after a long day of work – but their 8-year-old son and 4-year-old sister were absolutely dying for some McDonald’s!
According to FOX 8, here’s what happened next:
The boy seated his sister in the back of his dad’s work van, then jumped in the driver’s seat. He then drove about a mile from home, through four intersections and multiple turns. People were quick to report the underage driver sighting to police, but did note that the young boy obeyed all the rules of the road.
When they arrived, he dug into his piggy bank to pay for the food. Workers at the drive-thru thought they were being pranked.
When the police came, the kids had already finished their burgers and nuggets and the grandparents had arrived to take them home.
You literally can’t make this stuff up.
