City and state officials, family and friends gathered near the Boston Marathon finish line for a somber ceremony in honor of Boston Marathon bombing victims.

Boston Mayor Marty Walsh and Governor Charlie Baker took part in a wreath laying ceremony for One Boston Day, remembering the events of four years ago.

Martin Richard, Krystle Campbell and Lingzi Lu lost their lives on Boylston Street during the 2013 Boston Marathon. MIT police officer Sean Collier was shot and killed later that week by the attackers.

Later, a moment of silence will be held at Peabody Square at 2:20 p.m.

Today, One Boston Day, is also a day to pay tribute to survivors and give back to the community.
