Framigham's Bose is being sued for allegedly creating products that spy on their customers.

A new lawsuit claims Bose Corp. has been tracking and distributing customer data without permission, according to reports by ABC News and Reuters.

The complaint alleges that the Bose Connect app tracks the music, podcasts and other audio that customers consume. The company is also accused of selling that collected data to third-party companies without permission.

Bose has not commented on the lawsuit, Reuters said.
