Harvard Kicks Out At Least 10 Incoming Students For Offensive Memes

Here's a reminder to those with children that even though someone "doesn't really mean  it," there could be serious repercussions. 

At least ten students who were accepted to Harvard's Class of 2021 had their invitations rescinded this week after the school discovered a controversial accepted students Facebook group entitled "“Harvard memes for horny bourgeois teens”

According to The Harvard Crimson:

In the group, students sent each other memes and other images mocking sexual assault, the Holocaust, and the deaths of children, according to screenshots of the chat obtained by The Crimson. Some of the messages joked that abusing children was sexually arousing, while others had punchlines directed at specific ethnic or racial groups. One called the hypothetical hanging of a Mexican child “piñata time.”

The group was formed in December and was discovered by school officials in April with severe consequences.
