Worcester Couple Charged In Rape Of Child

WORCESTER (WBZ-AM) -- A Worcester couple charged with raping the woman's two-year-old daughter are being held on bail pending a probable cause hearing next month.

According to the police report, Mary McForbes, the child's mother, was seen taking photos while Joshua Rezsnyak forced himself on the toddler in a car in a Walmart parking lot.

The witness told police the couple then went into the store.

Both are charged with rape of a child.

The prosecutor told the court that the child's injuries were consistent with the witness's description.

Police said the child is known to the Commonwealth.

"The Department of Children and Families received a report and took emergency custody of the children in this matter," a DCF spokesperson said.

The girl and the couple live together in an apartment in Worcester's Main South neighborhood.
