Man Assaulted In Manchester Strip Mall Police Looking For Suspect

MANCHESTER, NH (WBZ-AM) -- A dramatic scene in a mini-strip mall on Second Street in Manchester. NH. 

Police responded to the scene around 1:15 PM Thursday after man stumbled into the Pizza Express shop saying he had just been assaulted inside the First Nutrition shop.

Chucky Tran, owner of City Nails, a nail salon shop next door, tells WBZ NewsRadio1030 that he heard someone yelling "help,"

"The pizza express owner, his name is Peter he came over and yelled. at me...and said Dave [from First Nutrition] got hit on his head and someone was trying to kill him," Tran said,. 

Tran and an employee at a nearby Mattress Express say they saw a man being taken away in an ambulance and big police commotion.

Police, say that the victim is being treated for non-threatening injuries to his head and face. They are investigating the assault as possible robbery and are looking for a suspect.

He's described as a Caucasian male, approximately 5’07, medium build wearing a dark colored jacket, dark colored hat and dark colored pants and was last seen driving  dark colored pick-up truck was seen leaving the area prior to police arrival, so it is unknown if the vehicle was involved in the incident.
