SWAT Team Pulls Man From Attic in Methuen

METHUEN, MA (WBZ-AM) -- A nearly three hour standoff on College Lane in Methuen, ends with an arrest after negotiations failed.

A SWAT team had to go into the home and pull out the suspect -- who they say was found hiding inside a piece of furniture.

Stephen O'Neill,38, had three outstanding warrants. He is also accused of breaking and entering a store in Seabrook Tuesday and stealing a dog in Nashua but the and Police Chief Joe Solomon says the owner of that dog chased down O'Neil herself through Facebook.
