Renard Matthews was tragically shot and killed in New Orleans last month. But instead of a standard wake, Matthews' family opted for a more stylized funeral service.
Matthews' wake was held at the Charbonnet Labat Glapion Funeral Home in Treme, where the 18-year-old was presented in his favorite Celtics jersey playing the popular video game NBA2K.
The teen's mother, Temeka Matthews, told WGNO that her son, surrounded by Doritos and sugary cereal, was "a bit of a homebody."
