While celebrating the launch of “KissMas Time” by Women’s Secret lingerie on Thursday (November 21), the brand’s ambassador, who is married to the Hunger Games star’s older brother Chris Hemsworth, told reporters Liam has been feeling reasonably “discouraged” following his split with the “Mother's Daughter” musician.
“My brother in law, well, after a relationship where he dedicated 10 years, he’s discouraged … but he’s taking it well,” Pataky revealed, according to Hola! “He’s a strong guy and he deserves the best. I think he deserves much more.”
The 43-year-old also added that Liam’s been receiving support from family amid his heartbreak. “Family is always there to protect you. He and his brother are so close and he’s really been there for him to give him the strength he needs,” she added, before adding with a touch of humor: “The truth is he is a doll, I adore him and he’s so handsome. … He makes the whole family laugh.”
After eight months of marriage, Hemsworth and Cyrus announced their separation in August in light of reports that the latter had been pictured kissing The Hills: New Beginnings star Kaitlynn Carter. Not long after, Hemsworth filed for divorce from the pop star, citing irreconcilable differences.
Since the split, Hemsworth sources have stated the Australian actor is looking forward to meeting new people. As we last reported, one of those new people happened to be actress Maddison Brown, with whom he was spotted holding hands during a stroll in New York City last month.
