Julianne Houghâs husband Brooks Laich says exploring his sexuality has been all about "prioritizing pleasure." The Canadian pro hockey star revealed this and more in Monday's episode of his How Men Think podcast, during which he addressed his previous comments about becoming more sexually open-minded as one of his resolutions this year.
âPeople think that sexuality is just the act of sex, of just having sex and thereâs so much more to it,â Laich explained. âHereâs a question. This is an honest question for everybody in this room, and every single person listening: Are you fully 100 percent fully expressed in your true sexuality? With your partner? With everything? You could not imagine having a better sex life? Are you truly there? Iâm not either.â
âWeâre not 10s of 10s. It doesnât mean youâre the best performer. It just means, âAre you fully expressed?â Do you even know who you are sexually? And I truly, to my core, do not,â the athlete added. âBut Iâm super excited about that journey to really learn about sexuality and also get better at the performance of it, but also just the understanding of who I am, who my wife is, that sort of dance.â As Houghâs hubby revealed, when it comes to his love life with the Dancing with the Stars performer, who came out as ânot straightâ last year, that dance is all about âprioritizing pleasure.â
Laich's latest sentiments come weeks after it was speculated the seemingly happy couple have been having marital problems. As a source told PEOPLE, Hough's "independent and a free spirit" has made things "tough for Brooks and their marriage." This has allegedly been going on "for months," however, the insider insists "they are not giving up, but also not talking about it. ⊠Maybe itâs a just a phase, maybe not. But either way they are not going to address it publicly right now."
