BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — An emergency meeting of the Boston Licensing Board reviewed multiple complaints against North End Restaurants and their future.
This is the second emergency meeting since June for North End restaurants. The board reiterated what must be done while living in this pandemic: masks are required, crowding is not allowed.
However, restaurant owners such as Massimo Tiberi said he was worried with winter coming, and he asked Chair Joyce how outdoor dining will work as the weather changes.
"Something open to the sidewalk that would block the wind for the guests, like a three-sided tent?," Tiberi asked.
It's still a work in progress to figure out propane tanks, how they will be stored, how to lay out power cords, if tents can be used, and so on.
