Ask anyone you know where they can find the best sandwich in Massachusetts and you’re bound to get a bunch of different answers from passionate sandwich aficionados - and for good reason. There are a lot of great places in and outside of Boston to grab an amazing sangie. However, lovefood.com says one stacks up better than than all the rest.
That's why the food blog put Cutty’s in Brookline Village on their list of the best sandwich shops in every state.

“Cutty's has been on the scene for a little under a decade, but it hasn't had any problem grabbing local attention, especially since hosting foodie TV personality Guy Fieri. The teeny-tiny shop's flavour-packed menu features creations like Beef 1000 – brioche packed with slow-roasted beef, crispy shallots, sharp Cheddar and thousand island dressing.”
The site also gave a special shoutout to another local favorite - Sam La Grassa's in Boston.
Cutty’s was founded in 2010 by Rachel and Charles Kelsey. The two met, fell in love and got married while working at America’s Test Kitchen for five years. The shop prides itself on food that’s prepared with “great skill, care and awesome ingredients.” That includes all-natural meats and cheeses, eggs and dairy from local farms and bread delivered daily by Iggy’s Bread of the World. “When the season comes around, we use native New England produce, much of it coming from nearby Allandale Farm,” the shop’s site says.
