Two parents are accused of leaving their young child in a car while they skied at Killington Ski Resort in Vermont. Temperatures that day were said to be below freezing.

According to WCAX-TV, Killington police received a report of a child left alone in a car on Feb. 8. Police say they later stopped a couple, who were driving away from the resort. That couple reportedly admitted to leaving the child in the car while they skied.

Police say the parents are employees of the resort and went through the chairlift gates 10 times that day. The parents told police that they checked on the child between every run.

The parents were charged with cruelty to a child. One of the parents was also charged with a DUI.
