BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Autobot fans can now eat truck loads of popcorn while watching "Transformers Rise of the Beasts" at participating AMC Theaters— well, sort of.

WBZ's James Rojas spoke with Logan and Alex, who got to sample an Optimus Prime-themed popcorn bucket, complete with a tin movie-accurate semi truck trailer that holds half a large bucket of popcorn and a drink with two exhaust pipe straws.

Logan says die hard fans of the vehicle battle bots might not flinch at the bucket's $50 price tag.

"This is a solid pick up for any Transformer collector— for a novelty item, this is pretty well made," Logan said.

"It seems pretty accurate to the show. Tires— it's a pretty thin rubber but I like how that added that detail to it, it seems pretty durable," another movie goer named Sam said.

And yes, the wheels on the truck work much like a toy car, functioning like a toy car.

WBZ's James Rojas (@JamesRojasNews) reports.
