Fall Out Boy Not Performing At Fenway Because Of Covid

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Concerts at Fenway Park are back and in full swing for the summer, but one popular band scheduled to perform on Thursday night, is out of the lineup because of Covid-19.

"Fall Out Boy" says they will no longer be performing in Boston or New York out of an abundance of caution.

This comes after a member of the band tested positive for Covid. The group was scheduled to perform with Weezer, Green Day and The Interruptors Thursday, as part of the "Hella Mega Tour."

The show will still go on, just without Fall Out Boy. The band says they are fully vaccinated, along with their crew and they are closely following all CDC guidelines.

Next on the list at Fenway Park is New Kids on the Block Friday and Zac Brown Band on Sunday.
