Here Are The Snow Totals In Massachusetts For April 16


BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The Commonwealth received an unexpected bout of snowfall late on Friday, mostly targeting towns and cities in central and western Massachusetts.

Here are the latest confirmed snow totals in inches by county, according to the National Weather Service of Boston.

Franklin County:

  • East Hawley: 6.8
  • Rowe: 5.8
  • Leyden: 4.5
  • Ashfield: 4.0
  • Heath: 3.0
  • Turners Falls: 2.0

Hampden County:

  • Hampden: 3.0
  • Ludlow: 2.8
  • Palmer: 1.0

Hampshire County:

  • Plainfield: 6.0
  • Chesterfield: 3.0

Middlesex County:

  • Pepperell: 1.5
  • Lexington: 1.3

Worcester County:

  • Gardner: 5.5
  • Paxton: 5.1
  • East Templeton: 5.0
  • Ashburnham: 4.5
  • Winchendon: 4.5
  • Hubbardston: 4.5
  • Holden: 4.2
  • Worcester: 3.7
  • Boylston: 3.2
  • North Ashburnham: 3.1
  • Auburn: 3.0
  • Sutton: 3.0

The National Weather Service of Boston said that portions of Worcester and Franklin Counties were the "jackpots" with snowfall according to the latest report.
