'Road Rage:' Peabody Man Goes Viral On TikTok For Angry Driving Videos

PEABODY, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Boston’s bad driving habits are going viral on one social media platform, thanks to an angry driver on the North Shore.

Dalton Delima, 26, of Peabody is known as the "The Proper Masshole" on TikTok. He has earned more than 65,000 followers since joining the app a little over a year ago.

His posts include a mix of Boston-themed comedy sketches, reviews of New England towns, and by far the most popular category -- instances of road-rage that are all-too-familiar for residents of the Commonwealth.

“It's pretty exciting to have all these people come on board and enjoy what I'm doing,” Delima said.

Outside of TikTok Delima is an EMT and a student at Suffolk University -- which means he gets a glimpse of a lot of different drivers in the area.

"Yesterday I almost saw a little utility truck flip over because somebody tried to merge into an exit ramp -- and I mean I see stuff like that daily -- people just don't pay attention at all."

He said that despite his struggles with reckless or absent-minded drivers in the area, he still loves being from Massachusetts.

“You have a sort of family in Massachusetts -- like a family feeling that you don’t really get anywhere else," Delima said. "Everybody just like takes care of one other here if you're not screaming at each other to get off the road."
