'The Mighty Quinn' Celebrates Second Cancer Treatment At Bruins Game

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Quinn Waters, better known as "The Mighty Quinn," celebrated finishing his second round of aggressive cancer treatment by attending a Bruins game at TD Garden.

The 5-year-old is battling brain cancer for the second time.

A Weymouth resident, Charlie Coyle gave Waters a souvenir puck. The Bruins posted a photo of Waters to their Instagram in his purple Bruins jersey which is a part of the NHL's Hockey Fights Cancer initiative.

Waters was first diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2019. In January 2021, he was diagnosed with brain cancer for the second time.

His six-week, high-dose radiation, treatment is set to wrap up this week.
