Tom Brady's Top 5 Playoff/Super Bowl Performances

One of the greatest athletes of all time, Jordan, Federer, Ali, whoever you want to toss on your sports Mount Rushmore Tom Brady MUST be on that list.  The resume is incredible and the comeback legendary.  What can you say about Tom Brady that hasn't been said already!  Here are my Top 5 Brady Performances.  Would love to hear yours!

Feb. 3, 2002: Super Bowl XXXVI -- Patriots 20, Rams 17 - The one that started it all!  Post 9/11 world.    U2 at half time.  Magical Season with "Tuck Rule"...kicking in a blizzard!  Then the Cinderella Super Bowl against the high powered LA Rams (Greatest Show on turf) and then getting introduced as a team 9that had never been done before).  Ending with a last minute amazing drive with John Madden saying to play for over time and setting up Adam Vinatieri's game winning kick!

Feb. 1, 2015: Super Bowl XLIX -- Patriots 28, Seahawks 24 this one I still can't believe!  Think about the end of this game, the Patriots led by Tom Brady go up to take lead, Seahawks are driving down the field, and then that crazy catch from Jermaine Kearse to take them down inside the 10 yard.  Then what do the Seahawks do with one of the most feared and powerful running backs of all time?  They run it to the one and then they decided to pass and Malcolm Butter is there!  History made.

Feb. 1, 2004: Super Bowl XXXVIII -- Patriots 32, Panthers 29 - Considered by some to be one of the most underrated Super Bowls of all time!  Two similar teams, smash mouth defenses, untested quarterbacks. Both defenses were in a slug fest in the first half, then late in the first half the floodgates opened and both offenses were on fire scoring over 21 points with 3 minutes to go!  Then there was the infamous half time show with Justin and Janet (no time for that here...back to Tom Brady).  With the game tied, what looked to be Super Bowl's first overtime game (more on that later) the Panthers gave the Tom Brady great field position to set up Adam Vinatieri's game winning kick (again)

Jan. 10, 2015: Divisional round -- Patriots 35, Ravens 31 - This one wasn't a Super Bowl but the legend of Tom Brady is on full display.  I remember exactly where I was during this game and a game that I will NEVER forget!  The New England Patriots came back from a 14-point deficit  not once but twice to defeat the Baltimore Ravens and advance to the AFC Championship Game for the fourth year in a row.

Feb. 5, 2017: Super Bowl LI -- Patriots 34, Falcons 28 -  This one I have no words!  Just numbers 28-3!  Just amazing Tom Brady on full display!  By now you know the story!   Down 28-3 in the Super Bowl, all hope lost for many, then the Patriots pulled off the greatest comeback in football history outscoring the Falcons 31-0 from the 3rd quarter through OT. Tom Brady, would win MVP honors for a record fourth time, broke single-game Super Bowl records going 43 for 62 with 466 passing yards along with 2 TD passes.
