Kanye West and Adidas are switching things up.
First we had the Yeezy Boost, arguably one of the most hyped and hard-to-get sneaker on the market, and now we have two VERY different sneakers on the way.
First there’s the Yeezy Runner, which seems to take influence from old running shoe designs like the Osweego - AKA it looks like a Dad shoe.
Now there’s the Powerphase, a straight-up tennis shoe, made with Kanye’s Calabasas branding.
The vintage 1980s tennis sneaker (that’s older than most Kanye fans) is resurrected for a new hyped-up life, in a simple white leather build with gold foil Calabasas branding on the quarter panels.
There’s still no confirmed release date for either shoe but the Powerphase will retail for $120—the most affordable Yeezy model yet.
Check out a pic of the Powerphase below - and the Yeezy Runner (Dad shoe) below that.
