Devin Booker Dropped 70 Pts Against The Celtics (And His Team Still Lost)

Devin Booker set a Suns record with 70 points tonight against the Celtics at the Garden, but could not get the win for his team - talk about doing all the work geeeez.

Booker’s huge night was the highest-scoring game since Kobe Bryant scored 81 in 2006, and just the sixth 70-point game in NBA history — joining Wilt Chamberlain, Elgin Baylor, David Thompson and David Robinson.

At 20, Booker’s the youngest player to score 60 or more in a game, and he broke Tom Chambers’ team record 27 years to the day after Chambers scored 60.

Booker added eight rebounds and six assists in the 130-120 loss.
