Fans Had A Special Message For Donald Trump At The Nationals Game Yesterday (PHOTO)

posted by Justin -

There was talk of Donald Trump throwing out the first pitch at the Nationals' Opening Day yesterday, but the POTUS declined the offer - and lucky he did.

Fans somehow got a huge banner into the stadium and hung it up.

"IMPEACH TRUMP #RESIST." That's what the massive banner unfurled from the observation deck above the first base side of the field, read.

While the protest was staged as fans were on their way out after the game, there is no telling whether those responsible for smuggling it into the stadium would have waited until such time to present it had Trump actually showed up.

The President gave no specifics as to why he would not make it out to take to the mound on Monday, but a scheduling conflict is cited as the official reason he declined.
