âWalking Deadâ fans are ruthless.
Josh McDermitt, who plays Eugene Porter on the show, quit social media recently over death threats from fans who hate his character.
McDermitt called out cyberbullies before deleting Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.
"Donât send me death threats, because I will...Iâm gonna report all that s--t to the cops. Iâm just sick of it. You can hate Eugene, I donât care. Iâll argue that youâre wrong, but you can think whatever you want. But when you start saying you hope I die, I donât know if youâre talking about Josh or Eugene. I gotta report that s--t," he said on Facebook Live.
"So just donât be an a--hole. And then...stop complaining. Letâs just stop complaining about everything on the internet. OK. Seriously. Go spend time with your family or friends or loved ones. Just get off the internet. Is there anything else? Other than I love you? I do. I love you guys."
McDermitt, who joined âThe Walking Deadâ in 2014, has switched allegiances on the show recently after Negan killed Abraham and took Eugene prisoner, only to reward him once they got to the Sanctuary.
Can someone please tell these people it's just a TV show?
