For anyone who’s been living under a rock without wifi for the past 12 months, Harambe was infamously shot dead by zookeepers at the Cincinnati Zoo on his 17th birthday, after a child fell into his enclosure. The story soon went viral, as the global media debated the staff’s decision to kill the captive animal in order to protect the child.
The incident inspired so much nonsense it is practically impossible to keep track of, from Harambe merchandise to memorials to that goddamn Harambe Cheeto selling for close to $130,000...
