A Philadelphia television reporter is now out of a job and facing criminal charges after going on an angry tirade outside a comedy club over the weekend, which included repeatedly insulting a cop and at one point trying to spit on a bystander.
Colleen Campbell was captured on cell phone video calling a police officer a "f**king piece of s**t," among other names, while outside of Philadelphia's Helium Comedy Club Sunday night.
The young woman was reportedly asked to leave the comedy club after disrupting a show multiple times with loud whispering. She then allegedly got into a fight with staff while exiting the venue. Once outside, Campbell had to be restrained by a friend as she went on an explicit rant against a Philly police officer in front of the club.
As the incident continued, Campbell sealed her fate after attempting to spit on a man in front of the club, at which point she was immediately placed under arrest by the officer.
The 28-year-old, who at one point bragged that she "worked at a f**king news station," was fired from her job at PHL17 soon after the video came to light.
Campbell was charged with resisting arrest, criminal mischief, and disorderly conduct.
