We’re so excited to see Lisa’s Book Club continue to grow, thanks to the passion of our members. This week, the club made an appearance in The Boston Globe as part of a feature on the rise in popularity of our friend, New York Times bestselling author and top-ranked podcast host Mel Robbins!
The article includes photos from the January 22 event where 1,300 people gathered at Big Night Live for our biggest Lisa’s Book Club event to date. It does a great job of capturing the energy, which was absolutely through the roof. “The middle-aged moms were screaming like teenagers, and clamoring for selfies and the hugs were flying, and Robbins’ video team was capturing it all for her 24 million followers, and if their lives weren’t perfect, well at this glorious moment, no one was feeling any pain,” the article says. This really brings me back to that night.

In the melee, her shirt had become untucked. ‘Holy s***’ she said by way of hello to the audience and her on-stage conversational partner, Kiss 108’s Lisa Donovan, the founder of the book club that had landed Robbins for the sold-out late-January evening.”
