Well at this point we are used to victory parades but unfortunately that comes at a price. During the Red Sox Parade yesterday a beer can damaged the World Series Trophy.
It has become somewhat of a tradition for fans to throw up beers for the players to catch..sometimes the players drink the beer, sometimes they spray it all over the crowd but this time the beer can did some actually damage.
In addition to that a young fan was accused of throwing a beer that hit Red Sox manager Alex Cora and his young daughter. The man was arrested.
Going forward the beer tradition might have to be nixed from the next parade.
