You'll Never Guess How Much Brady's Rookie Card Was Just Sold For

A Tom Brady rookie card has sold at auction for $400,100, the highest auction price in history for a football card.

Sold in a joint operation by PWCC Marketplace and ebay, the card is part of the ultra-rare 2000 Playoff Contenders Championship Ticket. Only 100 copies of the card were produced, and only two, including the one just sold, have been graded at 9 or higher.

“The offered BGS 9 is the highest graded example in the books, matched by only one other copy,” PWCC said in its listing. “Arguably the single finest example in the world and boasting many attributes of a GEM MINT card. While we see faint wisps of corner wear, the overall presentation is undeniably pack fresh.” (Friends, strive to live your life so that you’re always described as “pack fresh.”)

I am currently making a list of all the things I could do with that money and it doesn't including buying a piece of cardboard with Brady's face on it..but to each their own..

If you had that kind of money would you buy the card?
