Die-hard Celtics fan Dave Portnoy had critiques of his own for Draymond Green’s wife after she called out Boston fans for their behavior during game three of the NBA Finals at TD Garden. The Barstool Sports founder went as far as to question her game night parenting choices.
“Even Draymonds wife is crying now," Portnoy Tweeted. "Oh boo boo your kid heard some bad words. Well maybe they shouldn’t be up till midnight on a school night. Not my place to say it but sounds like bad parenting.”
In case you missed it, Hazel Renee, wife of Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green, took to her Instagram story after the game to criticize Celtics fans and the NBA after she said fans at the Garden were hurling obscenities at visiting Warriors players.
"Tough loss tonight BUT in NO WAY, shape or form should fans be allowed to chant obscenities at players!" Renee said. "Are they not human? Is someone standing at your job saying off the wall things to you? The @nba has the audacity to have a whole code of conduct card at every seat about fans and their behavior and how they could be ejected from a game or banned but a whole crowd/section/numerous people get to chant F**k YOU”
“DRAYMOND @money23green or call him a B**** or MF?! And nothing?? Like that's ok?!@Warriors fans would NEVER!! My kids were at the game tonight hearing the mess! Very DISGUSTING of you little @celtics fans. Just shameful!"
