These Identical Twin Girls Gave Birth To Sons On The Same Day

There really is something to that "twin bond" thing. I may have never experienced it myself, but I can already see it forming the tiniest bit with my son and daughter, Maxon and Aiza!

But this story about identical twin sisters who ended up being pregnant at the same time and, get this, giving birth, both to sons, on the SAME day, at the SAME hospital.

If that doesn't make you believe in a special twin bond, then I don't know what will,

The twins, Jalynne April Crawford and Janelle Ann Leopoldo have shared their pregnancy stories on Instagram, and opened up about welcoming their baby boys in an interview with People.

Jalynne explained how she had found out she was pregnant 4 days before her sister called her:  “I got chills in my arm and then seconds later she called and we were both like ‘Thank you, thank you God.”

What makes the story even more beautiful is that Janelle had previously struggled with fertility and had been diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome — a hormonal disorder that makes it more challenging to get pregnant — and had an ectopic pregnancy. Jalynne herself had suffered 2 miscarriages in that time as well.

Then the twins' sister, Jennifer, passed away.

But the twins both did not give up on getting pregnant and miraculously got pregnant at the SAME time, both with sons.

The sisters live in separate cities - one in Arizona and one in California - so they decided they wanted to give birth on the same day, so that their families could be there for both, and because the babies were the same gestational age, the doctors approved it!

On June 18th, Jalynne delivered in the morning and her sister delivered a couple of hours later. Jalynne welcomed son Bryson Ryder and Janelle gave birth to a baby boy named Jace Alan.

This makes me so emotional. I love this story and hope that some day my own twins can experience this level of twin bond... although obviously they won't both be pregnant at the same time, but you know what I mean!
