Trick-Or-Treat Forecast: Boston Area To Stay Mostly Dry

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Trick-or-Treat! The Halloween night forecast is shaping up to be dry for kids in costumes in Greater Boston. Patchy showers could roll in late after midnight, well after kids will be safely home in bed from the night's activities. Adults that are staying out a bit later could get rained on around Boston, mainly after 3:00 a.m.

Temperatures will be mild for this time of year in the Boston area, hitting the low to mid-50's from Worcester through Cape Cod.

Halloween central, Salem, will see mild weather with a low of 54 and showers very late, at about 4:00 a.m. according to the National Weather Service.

Rain is more likely to roll in across the South Coast, the Cape and the Islands, but either way, it isn't likely to put a could put a damper on the festivities until very late at night or early Tuesday morning.
