My dream came true this weekend... and i'm so excited to share it with you! Post390 a restaurant right around the corner from the Back Bay stop off the orange line hosts an event every fall called the Rise&Rumble Donut Throwdown. Local chefs showcase their donut making skills, we get to test them and vote on our fav! This year the chefs even teamed up with local creameries and paired ice cream with their donut creations. Flavor heaven! I l o v e this event for obvious reasons... ( indulging on a Sunday after a good run) but also because i get a good sense of which bakeries I want to go to order which treats from for future events like Small Business Saturday, Christmas morning breakfast, or office birthdays.
Post390 has an excellent brunch menu and an awesome bar if you are looking for a Sunday brunch with the girls ( AKA Bloody Mary's AMIRIGHT?) or even a dinner cocktail before your reservations. I love the vibe and the staff was very in tune with the crowd and excited to be there. Check out my pics below from Sundays event, its definitely worth the few extra calories.
Who will take home the coveted Rise & Rumble belt this year? Help decide during our annual donut throwdown! Next Sunday taste donuts and ice cream from 8 different teams, enjoy our brunch buffet and espresso bar (as well as brunch cocktails), then vote for your favorite! Tickets are $35 and available through the link in our bio🍩 #donutmissout
