New efforts to give renters assistance on utilities and rent are coming to Hamilton county today. The CARES Rent and Utility Relief Program will draw on CARES Act funds to provide short term help to renters who have lost income due to the Coronavirus. The county will pay up to three months’ rent and utilities payments with a maximum of $2,500 for households at or below 80% of the Area Median Income ( more from WLWT here.)
