Is Society Finally Done with Instagram Filters?

#NoFilter has always been a thing, but more recently I've notice a lot of my favorite female follows posting anti filter content. In Demi Lovato's recent posts she talks about how filters continue to create unrealistic beauty standards and she reminds us we're all beautiful without them. Don't get me wrong, I still use filters to enhance some of my content, but I've shifted to using my real face when i'm speaking directly to the camera. I feel like lately, the filters on Instagram are getting.... really intense. Yes, they're fun, but I try not to alter my perception of real expectations while scrolling.
