4 MA Cities Ranked 10 Best Places To Retire In America

The Chamber of Commerce announced 10 best places to retire in the United States and 4 of them are in Mass.

ChamberofCommerce.org says its 2019 ranking of the optimal cities for retirees is based on variables that cover aspects such as cost of living, crime levels, and quality of life.

The top 10 cities were as follows:

  1. New Bedford, Massachusetts
  2. Quincy, Massachusetts
  3. Warwick, Rhode Island
  4. New York, New York
  5. Fall River, Massachusetts
  6. Troy, Michigan
  7. Cambridge, Massachusetts
  8. Livonia, Michigan
  9. Cranston, Rhode Island
  10. Largo, Florida

My hometown (Quincy) is #2 and 6 of the cities are in New England so good news you won't have to go far to have the best retirement!

Forget Florida and try Fall River instead.
