Eminem addressed rumors that he is dating Nicki Minaj at Boston Calling Sunday night (May 27) when he closed out the three-day music and arts festival with a raucous hit-filled set
The potential hot, new couple began popping up in the news with Minaj's April release of "Barbie Tingz" where she raps, "I'm still fly, just bagged a white guy."
And she stirred the pot again this weekend with her appearance on YG's Big Bank (released May 25) where she spits "Told them I met Slim Shady, bag the Em / Once he go black, he'll be back again."
So that means they're together - right? Or at least had a one night stand? Not so fast...
Never one to let shy away from controversy, Slim Shady took center stage midway through the performance and addressed the growing rumors. "How many of you me to date Nicki Minaj?" the Detroit MC bellowed into the mic in his signature tenor rasp as the adoring crowd roared back.
"Boston, how many of you want me to date Nicki Minaj?!" the hip-hop heavyweight yelled again, punctuating each word for effect.
"Well goddamnit, me too!" he exclaimed to laughter, seemingly putting an end to the rumors before backtracking: "Yo, hold on. Nicki, if you get this message, just text me later and we'll talk about it."
Move over Bey and Jay, there might be new rap royalty in town. But they have to text about it first.
