When the best man got word his deployment was getting pushed back, he kept it a secret so he could surprise the groom on his wedding day. This poor guy tried to fight back the tears, but he didn’t have a chance.
Steven Marec had no clue when, on January 6th, his best man, Anthony White, showed up to his wedding unexpectedly, according to Marec’s Facebook page. That’s because, two months before the wedding, White was informed that he was going to be deployed overseas as an active member of the U.S. Army, according to ABC News.
Marec told ABC News that he didn’t even backfill White’s best man position, out of respect for his friend. Then, two days before the wedding, White’s deployment was delayed. White knew it would be a big deal for Marec. So, he kept it a secret, in order to surprise the groom on his big day.
