Tom Brady was keeping it real when he congratulated fellow quarterback Eli Manning on his recently-announced retirement Friday.
“Congratulations on your retirement, and a great career Eli! Not going to lie though, I wish you hadn’t won any Super Bowls,” Brady tweeted.
Tedy Bruschi got in on the fun shortly after, adding “You and me both brother.”
In two games that Patriots Nation would just assume forget, Manning and the Giants beat Brady and the Patriots in Super Bowl XLII and XLVI.
