This Septembers Sotheby's Auction featured artifacts from the Hip Hop icons we know and love. The famous crown on the magazine publication for 'The King of New York" which features Biggie in a gold crown sold for $600,000. The magazine cover was hot 3 days before his tragic death in March 1997. Fun fact about the crown ( its singed) but its a cheap plastic gold crown form a party store.
Love letters from Tupac Shakur were also sold and they went for $75,000.
