Niall Horan Opens Up About 'Saturday Night Live' Performance

Fresh off his debut performance on Saturday Night Live, Niall Horan caught up with Billy Costa backstage at the Kiss 108 Jingle Ball.

Horan, 26, made an appearance on SNL last night alongside Scarlett Johansson and Cecily Strong.

Johansson and Strong play the ghosts of strippers-past, while Horan plays Big Jim, a 1970s strip club owner who sings about his role in the hot tub death of the two girls.

"It's chaos back there," the former One Direction member explained about starring on the high profile comedy show.

Horan opened up about what the it was like to act alongside seasoned veterans like Johansson. "From the minute go, she was a really nice person," the singer said. "For me to go into that world of acting and stuff like that was obviously quite daunting."

"I did play a weird character, and it was a bit more fun than most acting things."

The 26-year-old "Nice To Meet Ya" singer even managed to grab a drink with his costar after the show.

"Scarlett was lovely, we had a couple of drinks afterwards," Horan said, before joking about sobering up on the bus ride back up to Boston.

When asked about his highlight of the year, the answer was easy.

"Saturday Night Live, I'm gonna have to say." Horan said, before offering a followup:

"Topped by Kiss 108's Jingle Ball tonight at the Garden!"
