There are few things stronger than the bond between a man and his pet.
34-year-old Paraguayan cowboy, Wagner Lima, died on New Year’s Day 2017.
He left behind many family and friends, not the least of which was his best friend of many years, Sereno the horse.
Wagner’s brother insisted, from the start, that Sereno be a part of the funeral procession with friends and family.
“This horse was everything to him,” Wando told Globo News. “It was as if the horse knew what was happening and wanted to say goodbye.”
